BEAUTILLION SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Beau Haiden Giles is the son of Natalie Preston. He is a graduating Senior from Boys Latin School of Maryland. While at Boys Latin he has been awarded the College Board National Recognition and Presidential Award. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. While excelling academically he is also actively involved in extracurricular activities.

 

He participates in Football, Black Awareness Club, Diversity Club, and Spirit Club. In addition, he is employed at Wylie Funeral Home. An active member of his community, he also works with the Baltimore Police Neighborhood Coordination Unit working with students in need of tutoring. He believes that the most important characteristics of a young man are the ability to listen and the ability to adapt. This is important because you have to be able to listen and understand the people around you and how they feel. Also, you should be able to adapt to any situation in order to be successful and grow based on experience and the environment around him.

 

He has applied to Arizona State University, Stanford University, University of Miami, Long Island University, and Penn State University. In college, he will major in either Sports Management, Marketing, or Law.
