Beau Carson Freeman

2023 Senior Beau

Carson DuBois Freeman is the son of Stephanie Courtney Freeman. He also is the younger brother of Nigle Jair Freeman. Carson Freeman is a senior at the Friends School of Baltimore and he maintains an 85% grade average. Additionally, he’s a Cross Country runner, Ultimate Frisbee team manager, and he’s the Editor-In-Chief of the school newspaper, The Quaker Quill. 

 

Carson describes himself as a big dreamer and lives by the quote “You can’t explain big dreams to small-minded people”, by Steve Harvey. 

 

He is also a frequent volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, whose sales go directly into restoring homes for low-income families to live in. From time to time he also volunteers for Our Daily Bread, a nonprofit Catholic Charity. 

 

Carson has received several awards including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. National Presidential Youth Award, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Delta Lambda Chapter Beautillion Program 1st Place Debate Award recipient, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. National Behind the Camera Award.

 

After Carson’s graduation, he plans on attending Howard University, Morehouse College, or George Washington University. He plans to obtain a degree in Journalism and Computer Science. 

 

In Carson’s free time, you’ll often find him in the park or walking down the street with his camera in hand doing photography. He also enjoys spending time inside his school’s darkroom developing photos or making prints.
